Reading Diary #5.

 14. Why do you think the author wrote this story? Where did he or she get the idea or the characters? What message do you think that the author is trying to share?


     I think the author wrote this story to get more people interested in stories that people can relate to their lives to make it seem more interesting. Also to probably to show and tell people to get thinking about the different problems and solutions. For example it can help readers with their reading strategies for the future like asking themselves questions and infer problems and wonder how they will solve it. The author probably got their information and ideas of characters from either their personnel life and what the type of life they wished to have had, even for a day. If I could have Enders life for a day I think it would be a little stressful but also at the same to worth it.
     Also the author may have got their ideas for characters from friends or even enemies to put in the story so the reader can also relate to the author so it will be a fun and good experience if reading.

    
    

Reading Diary #4:

     10. As you read today what surprised you? Explain how this will affect the story or how it changed your thinking about the story.


     Something that surprised me was that Bonzo graduated and left the military. It surprised because now what will the military be like without him and who will Ender be competing with during battles. It will affect the story and my way of thinking because now it's going to a whole new level of thinking and the military won't be the same.
     Something else that surprised me was how Bonzo tried to kill Ender and then Ender reversed and tried to as well. I never thought Bonzo disliked Ender that much to kill him. So that really changed my way of thinking and how the story might end.

2. Does this story or its characters remind you of another story you have read? Does it remind you of a movie? How are they alike? And how are they different?

     This story reminds of a story I have read. The story I have read and the book Enders game are alike because they both have many different problems and the characters have the same personality. Also they have different battles and problems to solve and find a solution. Also because they are both a little futuristic.
     Both of the stories are different because some have different point of views. Anther reason why the story is different is because they have a different setting and different timing. Also its because the author wrote the story for different purposes.

1. In todays reading, did the setting or any of the characters remind you of people or characters in your own personnel life? Were any of the situations or events similar to your own life? How are they alike and how are they different?

Some characters did remind me of people in my own personnel life. Someone at my old school reminded me on Bonzo because they both act tuff and strong and look down to people. Also the situation when Bonzo was explaining how he didn't want to train with Ender just because he's smaller and younger. Then at school most people don't like working with the so called "not cool kids".

 9. If you could ask a question what would you ask? If you could ask the author a question what might it be? Explain why you chose these questions.




     If I could ask a question it would be why did the military decide and choose Ender out of all people in the world?? I would ask the author what inspired him to write this book about a boy leading the military to fight the aliens so they cant destroy the world? What imagine!

Prediction of Enders Game

 My prediction on what Enders Game just might be about is aliens taking over the world and destroying all the humans killing them. But someone will try to save all man kind by using different types of weapons. I think that one person will also use the army for back up when he tries to destroy all aliens and robots before they take over the world and destroy the humans as well. Then the boy that tries to kill the robots and aliens will fight them in space. He will also have a space suit type of thing that has weapons that he can put in side of his pocket,  but will be really good to use. then I think the boy will destroy the aliens and not come to Earth ever again to destroy them.

     13. It is not unusual to wish that our lives were more like the lives of the character in stories. How would you change your own life to be more like the world of your story?

          I usually like to read fantasy and not realistic fiction. Then I realized realistic fiction is just as good because I can most times relate it to myself and my daily life experiences.
          I don't usually get to run around the store and make a big mess, causing any trouble unless I wanted to be in trouble. If I could without me being in trouble I totally would! I can't bring a dog home and say were keeping it. I can't do a lot of things, but when I read this i felt like my life was just plain and simple with absolutely no problems to solve or anything like that. 
          If I could have Opals life I don't think I would want it. I wouldn't trade my life for Oplas. I did enjoy the book and reading about her life. I have a lot of responsibilities I have to do and if I had to live in Opals life I wouldn't want to start that over.
